Simply Gym memberships offer exceptional value for money. You have unlimited use of the club 7 days a week from early until late. All our small group training classes are included free of charge too. All our clubs have free parking and you have full use of the showers and changing areas.
We welcome everyone to the club with a personal introduction to the gym and develop a personal programme based on what results you would like to achieve.
We will also review your progress and your programme regularly and update it, to make sure you continue to achieve results — all as part of the service. On joining you have a complimentary personal training session to help motivate you and get you going.
All our systems are online, so simply click on the Join button and follow the steps. If you would prefer to come to your nearest club and we will help you join one of our on-site kiosks.
You have to have an email address to complete the online process. We would be happy to help you set up an email address (it’s free).
All payments including your 1st month’s membership and joining fee are taken by Direct Debit.
Unfortunately, we only accept memberships via Direct Debit. You can buy a day pass if you wish to try out one of our clubs.
Your first payment will come out of your account approximately 10 working days after you join. This payment will consist of your first month’s membership fee plus your joining fee. Subsequent payments (monthly membership fee only) will then be taken each month on the anniversary of your joining date.
No problem. The Harlands Group administer all of Simply Gym’s direct debit payments. Just give them a call on 01444 449156 and they will make the change for you.
Your membership starts as soon as you have completed the joining process and you can use the club straight away. You will receive an e mail confirming your membership and your personal 8 digit entry code.
No, it is very important you keep your code confidential. If you think someone else knows your code let us know and we will change it. We monitor usage reports and will have to ban any member who actively shares their code for other non members to use.

Yes we always welcome back previous members.
There are 3 types of membership contract — a 1 month, 6 month and 12 month membership. You are under contract for the relevant period of whichever membership type you choose when you join. After this time you can leave by providing 1 month’s notice. You will receive a copy of your full terms and conditions when you join up.
We offer a wide variety of classes to suit any age or ability. Visit Our Classes to see what we have on.
No, all our small group training classes are included as part of your membership.
Yes please, you can book your space in the Simply Gym app. This ensures that everybody who has booked will be able to attend. Please cancel your booking oif you are going to be unable to attend the class. Of course if there is still space you are welcome to attend any class even if you haven’t booked.
All our clubs have FREE parking.
You can book your welcome appointment online or you can phone the club or pop in and we can book an appointment for you.
We normally suggest you allow an hour.
Please come in appropriate exercise clothing and trainers — whatever you feel comfortable in. This is a practical session too.
No problem at all the welcome and programme appointments are the perfect way to get familiar with the gym and the equipment and get advice from one of our expert team members.
Many of our members are first-time gym users so you will not be on your own.
If you’ve used a gym before that’s great we can use the welcome to make sure you really understand all Simply Gym can offer. It’s also a great opportunity to get some advice, support ideas or just have some fun with one of our expert team members.
There is no cost for any of this support — we are here to help you get results.
Absolutely — in fact, we would encourage you to. Regular programme updates ensure your programme develops as your fitness improves and it keeps it fun and interesting — don’t get bored a change is as good as a rest.
And as you would expect at Simply Gym this is all part of your membership — no extra charge.
Yes, one of our staff can give you a tour of the facilities, you can request a tour by emailing the club.
Yes, you can purchase a day pass for which will let you use all the facilities for one day.

Day passes are only valid during staffed hours and can be purchased from the gym, just ring the doorbell when you arrive and one of our staff will assist you.The minimum age for membership is 16.
Yes, we do, you will need to bring a valid student card to the club to sign up. For further information please contact the club you are interested in joining.
Yes, we do, if you are a member of the fire brigade, police, armed services, NHS and a variety of other organisations you may be entitled to a discount membership, please contact the gym you are interested in joining.

At this time we are only able to accept Direct Debits from UK bank accounts.
We offer a variety of membership options, you can choose to be on a rolling monthly membership meaning you are not contractually obligated to remain a member with us for an extended period of time.
You will receive two emails from us:
The first one contains confirmation of your Direct Debit and details of the payments that you have committed to.
The second one contains your login details and the Terms of Use and the Rules of the Gym. To gain access to the Gym, use the login details to log in to the members area of our Website or App, you will be prompted to accept the health and safety terms of the Gym, once you’ve completed these steps you’ll be shown your 8 digit PIN number that you will use the access the Gym.
The welcome email which contains your login details is sent automatically and you should receive it within a few minutes of completing the sign-up form. Depending on your email provider this may have been moved to your junk mailbox. If you still haven’t received the welcome email please contact your club.

Yes, the gyms are open 24/7, on occasion, we may need to close the gym for required maintenance or due to unexpected issues arising but we make as much effort as possible to keep this to a minimum.All other gyms

Yes, we employ Personal Trainers that are onsite and there are also freelance affiliate Personal Trainers at the Gym.
Some of our personal trainers work on a freelance basis and you can find their profiles and contact info on the personal trainer’s board in the Gym. Also please feel free to approach them on the Gym floor.
Free wifi is available for all members, contact a member of our team for the access code. Certain areas of the gym including the change rooms and studios may not be fully covered by the wifi signal.
Your PIN number can be found by logging in to the website and clicking on your name in the top right corner of the screen and then clicking on settings, your PIN will be shown under my club.
Click on member login and then on forgot password and enter the email address you joined with and you will be sent a link to reset your password, you can also do this using the app.
To login to the app use the same username and password that you use to login to the website, these were sent to you in the welcome email.
If you are on a monthly rolling membership you only need to give us 30 days notice to cancel your membership.
If you are on a 12 month or annual contract you need to complete the term of your contract before you are able to cancel.
In certain circumstances you are able to cancel prior to completing your contract, these include medical reasons and others. Please check the terms and conditions for more information.

If your PIN doesn’t work please make sure that you are trying to access the gym during the hours your membership allows for, if it still does not work please contact the club.

Yes, you can freeze your membership, this is for a minimum of one month, your membership will be frozen from the date of your next payment, please make sure your freeze request reaches us at least 14 days before your next payment to provide adequate time to process it. You can request to freeze your membership Harlands on 01444 449156 press option 1.
It is free to freeze your membership , memberships can be frozen for up to three months.
When you freeze your membership you can also choose to set a date to unfreeze it, otherwise please contact Harlands on 01444 449156 press option 1.
Yes, you can upgrade your membership but only from the start of your following month, to request an upgrade please contact Harlands on 0144 444 9156 and press option 1. We require up to 14 days notice to process your upgrade.
When you join your first payment and joining fee will be processed immediately. Your monthly membership amount will then be processed on the same date in the next month and each month subsequent to that.
Yes, you can, we will change your direct debit date as per your request and your next payment will be calculated on a pro-rata basis. Please contact Harlands on 0144 444 9156 and press option 1. We require up to 14 days of notice to process any changes.
