Feel Good Stories — Lee Morris

Lee, unfortunately, lost his friend Rhodri to bone cancer a few years back.

Since his loss, he has gone on to raise thousands of pounds for bone cancer research. Lee is better known as a marathon man in the gym due to the amazing challenges he undergoes in order to raise money.

He has completed challenges at the gym including:

  • Climbing the height of Everest on our power mills (1694 floors) straight into completing a marathon on a treadmill over 12 hours.
  • 7 marathons in 7 days.
  • Back to back marathons in one session (52 miles).

Outside of the gym, Lee has also undergone other extreme challenges including competing in a boxing match, attempting a 120-mile run and also run from Waunarlwydd rugby club to the top of pen y fan, the highest peak of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Lee is the definition of a superhero, he has devoted a large amount of his life, always putting his body to the limits to raise awareness and money for a great cause, but come into the gym day in, day out training for these with a smile on his face! He’s an absolute inspiration to us all.
