Our Southend gym has all you need to achieve your fitness goals, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the Gym has been fully refurbished in December 2018 with all new equipment installed. The club is an official Hammer Strength certified training centre and features the latest in fitness technology including fully connected gym equipment and a members app. Our facilities also include a large class studio, spin studio and saunas in both changerooms, we really do offer something for everyone.

Brand New Life Fitness and Hammer Strength Gym
With a full range of the latest Life Fitness equipment including web-enabled treadmills, bikes, cross trainers, Sparc trainers and rowers, there is a huge variety of equipment to keep you engaged and achieving your goals. Our range of Hammer Strength lifting equipment includes power racks, lifting platforms, and plate loaded machines. There’s a great functional area with Synrgy rigs, kettlebells and TRX equipment and plenty of space to be creative!

22 Bike Spin Studio
Our spin studio is fitted with 22 indoor cycles. Classes are on daily featuring great soundtracks and charismatic intructors and are hugely popular with our members.

Group Exercise Studio
We have a wide range of classes available everyday taking place in our class studio or around the Synergy rig. Classes include Les Mils Body Pump, Yoga, Pilates and all classes are free to members and easily bookable using our members app.

Ladies Only Area
Our Ladies only area features the same equipment found on the Gym floor and is designed specifically to ensure you have everything you need to complete your workout.

Synrgy Starter

If you haven’t done many circuit classes before, Synrgy Starter is your perfect place to start.  This fully coached introductory session aims to coach and develop your techniques on various exercises.

LBT-class
Synrgy LBT

The name says it all! The focus of this class is to tighten and shape your legs, bums and tums with specific exercises.

Synrgy Core/Abs

The body’s core constitutes a whole range of muscles between the hips and shoulders. In addition to well defined abs and flat stomach, a strong core will provide support for your back and help safeguard against injury.

Spyn

The Spinning coach takes you to various mountains and valleys. Within the group you will reach goals you might not have reached by yourself. Within one hour of spinning up to one complete meal can be burned. No matter if you would like to burn fat or simply feel fantastic: Spinning is the ideal workout for you.

Synrgy Max

Synrgy Max is the intense full body workout with a focus on muscle body shape. Synrgy Max workouts include great music, with step, strength, endurance and optimizing fat burning.

A fun and dynamic workout designed to improve your body shape using bodyweight exercises through an interval based program.

50/50

This class consists of 50% weight based training, 50% high intensity interval training. The class has two main focus': Learning about training alone and having fun getting fit! With 50/50 you will learn how to train independently, both with competence and confidence, while having an interactive and challenging workout!

Synrgy Circuit

A fun and dynamic workout designed to improve your body shape using various exercises on and off the Synrgy 360 frame through an interval based program.
